Trent Touchet  |  Assistant Coach

Trent Touchet comes to NTCC after spending the previous two seasons at Louisiana Tech as the Graduate Assistant.  Trent is a 2024 graduate of Louisiana Tech with his Masters in Business Administration.  While at Louisiana Tech, Trent worked with the catchers and hitters, as well as being the bullpen coach during games. 

Trent began his collegiate career at Panola Junior College in Carthage, Texas where he played catcher before transferring to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.  While a member of the Sam Houston team, Trent spent time as a catcher, first baseman and designated hitter. 

Touchet is a Shreveport, La native where he graduated from CE Byrd High School in 2016.  He is the son of Terri Little (stepdad Larry) and Jamie Touchet (stepmom Shelly).  He has 6 siblings,  Abby Touchet, Jonathan, Morgan and Jason Little and Jackson Touchstone.

Coach Touchet will work with the catchers, assist with the hitters, and will serve as the recruiting coordinator.
